Regional Program Director - Twin Cities

As a Regional Program Director, you'll play a pivotal role in our organization. This remote position requires some travel within the Twin Cities region. Working closely with the CEO you will oversee existing programs, foster partnerships, and strategize regional expansion. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of building healthier communities through sustainable food practices.

Salary

$80,000 - 90,000/year based on experience

Workday & Location

Monday - Friday from 10 am – 6 pm EST.

Location:

Remote - Hybrid plus partner meetings

About the role

Responsabilities

Program Management:

  • Provide high-level oversight of daily program operations in collaboration with the Dispatch Operations Manager.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, timelines, and evaluation plans.
  • Facilitate program meetings with partner organizations, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Maintain program databases, records, and contracts.
  • Generate quarterly program and food donor impact reports for stakeholders.

Regional Expansion Planning:

  • Analyze existing programs and food rescue trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop a multi-year growth strategy for surplus food donations and meal initiatives.
  • Implement food donor and partner solicitation strategies, tracking outcomes and impact.
  • Align regional growth strategies with fundraising activities for program sustainability.

Partnership Development:

  • Research and initiate contact with potential partners.
  • Support fundraising efforts by cultivating relationships with potential funders and corporations.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders in nonprofit organizations, government offices, and educational institutions.
Candidate Qualifications and Traits
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Non-Profit Management, Public Administration, Public Health, or Social Work) is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a related field (such as non-profit management, hunger relief or food bank operations, or food rescue coordination) is preferred, but not required.
  • Proven track record and ability to multitask
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with strong reasoning and communication skills and comfort with ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong desire to provide high-quality customer service
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Able to keep many projects moving forward concurrently
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Must have a personal laptop with a stable broadband connection
  • A people person who is passionate about making a difference.

  • Round 4 - 30 minute Interview - Call with key external stakeholder
